How much do you charge?

All fees are listed on the Fees page. Charges are based on the number of notary signatures and seals required. The required signatures are determined by you and the requesting person or organization, not by the notary.

Appointment Policy

All appointments require a $20 non-refundable payment at the time of booking. This payment is not an additional fee—it is applied toward the total cost of the service. Appointments may be cancelled at any time. Rescheduling is allowed at no additional cost if requested at least three hours before the scheduled time. However, if a rescheduling request is made within three hours of the original appointment, it will be treated as a new booking and will require an additional $20 non-refundable payment.

How long is each appointment?

The notarization process can take as little as ten minutes. To prepare for the appointment, you are encouraged to read the Info page. 

Where are you located?

Notary Sure offers convenient and secure notary services by appointment at local public libraries in Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, and Pickering. Clients may choose any library location that is both accessible and safe for them.

What do I need to bring for my appointment?

You will need to bring the document(s) you need to have notarized or commissioned and one piece of valid government issued photo identification.
